Physical space and technology support effective educational delivery for lecture, discussion, and clinical skills. CPHS promotes interprofessional education and scholarly collaboration within the college (Pharmacy, Physician Assistant, Clinical Research, Nursing, Public Health), the School of Osteopathic Medicine, and other programs throughout the university. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and present materials in areas of assigned teaching that meet course objectives Assess student competence within courses Be an active member on assigned committees and department meetings Advise students Demonstrate and/or develop and carry out a defined scholarly agenda Be active in service (e.g. community, university, and profession) Participate in assessment of the program, college, and university, as assigned Mentor adjunct faculty that assist in lecture and laboratory experiences Participate in patient care and program pro bono clinical services Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including but not limited to Title IX, and Information Security, including but not limited to; HIPAA, FERPA and other state and federal mandates Other job-related duties, activities and responsibilities may change or be assigned at any time, with or without notice Education/Experience Terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, etc.) in physical therapy or related field Eligible for physical therapy licensure in North Carolina Clinical practice experience in physical therapy for 3 years or more ABPTS or other specialty certification desired Teaching experience in a doctoral physical therapy program desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills Ability to communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a changing environment Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people Comprehensive computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize new and emerging technology Familiarity with Blackboard, ExamSoft, Adobe, and Microsoft Office This position demands accuracy, honesty, integrity, and the ability to work within the Christian mission of Campbell University.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Teaching, Allied Health ProfessionalsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
