Faculty Leader - Business, Adult and Online Education

Description: Adult & Online Education at Campbell University invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of AOE Faculty Leader, Business. This is a non-tenure track, 12-month, full-time faculty position at the rank of assistant/associate professor in Business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance in rank pursuant to the University's promotion policy.  This position should serve as a teaching-focused academic, and provide leadership to adjunct faculty as well as coordination with main campus faculty. This position provides and supports academic excellence and an outstanding educational experience for students in the Adult & Online Education unit of Campbell University, and is part of a dynamic and rapidly growing area of the university. Adult & Online Education currently operates at three extended campuses: Campbell University Fort Bragg/Pope Army Airfield in Fayetteville, NC; Camp Lejeune/New River in Jacksonville, NC; and downtown Raleigh.   The main work location for this position will be at the Buies Creek, NC campus of Campbell University, although some work will be conducted at each of the other locations. Approximately one-quarter of Adult & Online Education's students enroll in Business- related majors.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall management and delivery of Adult & Online Education's programs in Business Administration, including Associate in Arts (AA) in Business, Bachelor in Applied Science (BAS) in Accounting and Business Administration, and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Business Administration and Healthcare Management, and related programs and courses. Collaborate with colleagues at Campbell University's main campus to develop curriculum, and independently oversee the implementation of the curriculum through adjunctfaculty across all campuses of Adult & Online Education. Coordinate instructional approaches among faculty, and collaborate with directors and instructional designers to develop the knowledge and skills of faculty who teach in these programs.  Develop relationships with employers and others in the industry. Conduct annual program assessments (in collaboration with Campbell's Director of Assessment). Teach business and management courses across all locations of Adult & Online Education, in a combination of online and face-to-face modalities. Work closely with campus directors and the other full-time faculty in Campbell's Lundy Fetterman School of Business to provide continuity between the main campus, extended, and virtual campuses.  Collaborate with Faculty Leaders in other academic areas within Adult & Online Education to support the coordination and development of instructors. This position is based in Buies Creek, North Carolina (NC), but requires travel to other extended campus locations in NC. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.    Education and Qualifications: A PhD (or terminal degree equivalent) from a regionally accredited institution in an appropriate academic discipline such as Business Administration, Management or Economics, or equivalent. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
